Atty. Marianne S. Aquino

Ian is CleanTech’s LegalCounsel.  She provides legal support and advice to the Leadership Team on corporate governance. She ensures compliance with internal controls and the latest statutory regulations that affect the energy industry and ongoing reforms in the energy and power industry that may impact the business.

She collaborates with the BusinessDevelopment and Project Management Teams as well as with the Finance and HR& Admin Teams, advising on legal risks, business strategies, commercial law and regulatory matters.

Before joining CleanTech, she worked as an associate for a full service law firm and an associate in theLitigation Department of one of the major law firms in the country. She also worked for Isla Lipana & Co. as an underbar.

Ian holds a Juris Doctor degree from theUniversity of the Philippines College of Law and a Political Science degree from the same university. Currently, she is also connected with the university’s Office of Legal Aid as one of the clinic’s supervising lawyers.

Outside legal work, Ian enjoys cooking and running.
