CleanTech participates in the Masungi Georeserve’s Nurture-a-Grove Project

Recognizing the need to address the continuous decline of forests, and promptly taking the initiative to support projects that take care of the environment, CleanTech’s team came together for the Nurture-a-Grove Project at the Masungi Georeserve last July 2019.

The Masungi Georeserve is a rustic rock garden tucked away in the rainforests of Rizal. The georeserve has been a protected area for over twenty years, and currently serves as a sanctuary for over hundreds of native wildlife species. Through the Nurture-a-Grove Project, CleanTech executives and employees were able to participate in biodiversity preservation efforts in Masungi through tree planting activities and educational demos. Apart from the tree nurturing activities, the team was also able to experience the Legacy Trail hike, a nature walk through areas where major reforestation efforts have been previously made.

The Company highlights the importance of having these activities to encourage individuals to become more proactive in looking after natural resources and creating a healthier environment. Moving forward, the Company has future plans to participate in more tree planting activities through, but not limited to, the Haribon Foundation, Nuvali TREE, World Wildlife Fund, and Philippine Native Plants Conservation Society.
